ABOUT ME

Launa is a strategic communications professional and military veteran with a comprehensive background in program management, social media content creation, influencer marketing, promotions, copy/ghost/blog writing, and public speaking.

 

She received a bachelor's degree from Florida International University in Mass Communications with a specialization in Public Relations and a minor in marketing as well as a Master of Science in Strategic Communications from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She has worked with various magazines, marketing agencies, and luxury hotels to hone her skillset. During her time in the US Air Force, she served as an intelligence analyst for six years and now serves as a reservist in addition to her current role as a content marketing strategist. Her experience with the federal government, Department of Defense, private sector, and start-ups bolstered her quick-thinking skills and abilities to manage multiple tasks in high-stress, fast-paced environments.

 

She is an experienced publicist, copywriter, blogger, and director of her own platform, Launa Media Services, which specializes in social media management, brand strategy, content creation, copywriting, and design. Launa is also an actor and model seen in commercials, films, and with her comedy group, Lemon Pepper and Sazón, where she conducts workshops and performances around the east coast.
